Some helpful tips I chance upon! :)

Hello Everyone! :)

Decided to share this cause I think it'll be helpful!
(A tad lengthy post!)

Working on acne from the inside

Many creams and lotions and antibiotics contain substances that can have a negative effect on you. These substances include:
-Parabens which have a possible link to cancers, and DNA damage.
-Phthalates which can affect sex hormones and metabolism.
-Antibiotics, while useful for serious illnesses and infections, also place stress on your digestive tract as they destroy good gut bacteria as well.
(I must confess, when I read this section, Innisfree's magic floral series, green tea series, white tone up series, etc came into my mind! :)- they fit the criteria!
But, not forgetting other brands that are dermatologist tested. :)

Minerals to balance hormone function and boost stress management.
Zinc (supplements or seafood)
Selenium (brazil nuts)
Chromium
Green Tea (Yay! Haha, reminds me of greentea lines again.)

Finally, remember that all the best supplements in the world will not work if you are eating an inflammatory diet that damages your digestive tract. The two most common culprits are refined carbohydrates and unhealthy oils.

That means you should stick to carbohydrate sources like fruit, and natural starches like sweet potatoes, yams and veggies.

And natural oils like butter (not margarine), nuts, fish oils and coconut oil.
(Side note: Learnt a bit of nutrition & wellness and margarine contain trans-fat (which is bad for your health!) and I always had the conception that butter is more unhealthy because its cream and all, but! It actually
contain the same amount of fats just like margarine. (so there's actually no difference! :) )
Remove the harmful stuff, add in the helpful stuff and within a few weeks you should see improvements in your skin quality.
